The Alonei haBashan YeshivaHigh School is a unique educational institution that helps boys with tremendous potential who do not fit in to a conventional Yeshiva high school setting.Our remote location on top of a mountain in The Golan Heights removes all potential distractions from the students and creates a serene learning environment.The school provides individual attention to each student in an atmosphere of combined Torah learning and secular studies.Ultimately, we strive for each student to receive a full matriculation diploma, while strengthening the student's personality by nurturing his ability to accept responsibilities and to cope with challenges.
The Yeshiva is situated in Alonei Habashan, a moshav, in the Central Golan. The students live in dormitories adjacent to the Yeshiva. The quiet surroundings and open spaces of the “BashanitForest” Nature Preserve lend much to the molding of the character of the student.
Our proven method of achieving our goal is by discovering and activating distinctive talents that are hidden in each student. This strengthens their self esteem and ultimately has a positive influence on their academic studies.To do this we offer a wide range of enrichment classes in subjects such as:
Scouting & navigation skills
Photography
Cinema
Ecological farming
Cycling
Graphic Design
Music
Craftsmanship (woodworking, iron work etc.)
We have devised a system that detects students with special needs and customizes personal learning solutions for each of them. This includes providing small learning groups of 2 – 3 students and individual help with teachers from specialized fields.Furthermore, every class at the Yeshiva is accompanied very closely by a counselor who facilitates various social activities within and outside of the Yeshiva, including, enrichment activities, homework groups and open seminars. As part of the educational process, the students are active in volunteer projects, both in and outside of the community.

With the students’ cooperation and motivation, and with the help of G-d, we succeed in bringing out the hidden gifts and unknown talents of each student.As a Yeshiva, we emphasize a high quality Torah education given over in a warm, friendly and supportive environment.At the same time, we maintain strong boundaries and clear goals to keep the students focused.
